Your Opportunity:
Taylor Warehouse & Fulfillment, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a 1st Shift Shipping Clerk to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN, facility!
Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Your Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday - Friday with overtime as required, including some weekends.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality control review of each order
  • Check-in orders
  • Aggregate and package/prepare orders for shipping via parcel and LTL carriers
  • Utilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels
  • Maintain a clean working environment and maintain equipment needed to ship orders timely
  • Follow safety requirements for the position
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment
  • Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
  • Completes shipping reports

You Must Have:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet set deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer knowledge required
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Requirements within this position:
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility

We Would Also Prefer:
  • Experience in Pick/Packing
  • Experience with UPS and FedEx software

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
