Production Packer – Night Shift

Location: Jackson, MI
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Job Type: Contract / Temporary (W-2)
Shift: Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Summary

Hiring Production Packers for its manufacturing facility in Jackson, MI. This role supports night-shift production operations by packing finished vinyl siding and accessory products while maintaining safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. This is a hands-on, physical role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Schedule
  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

  • 12-hour rotating schedule

  • Work approximately 15 days per month

  • Work every other weekend (Friday–Sunday)


Responsibilities
  • Pack vinyl siding panels according to quality and nesting standards

  • Perform visual inspections for defects or color variations

  • Assemble, glue, label, and number boxes

  • Cut packing straps and load boxes onto skids

  • Strap skids for transport to the warehouse

  • Assist operators with production line setup

  • Monitor and restock hot glue supplies

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures

  • Train other packers as assigned

  • Perform additional duties as needed


Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, production, or packing experience preferred

  • Experience working 12-hour shifts is a plus
