To thrive as a Weekend Executive Protection specialist, you need strong situational awareness, security protocols knowledge, and typically a background in law enforcement, military, or security, often supported by relevant certifications. Familiarity with security systems, surveillance equipment, communication devices, and defensive driving is important for effective protection. To address these, it's important to maintain strong situational awareness, engage in regular training, and build clear communication channels with clients and team members. Flexibility and adaptability are also key, as assignments can change quickly depending on the client's needs and environment.

These professionals often work during weekends to cover periods when their clients may be more active or vulnerable. They typically have backgrounds in law enforcement, military, or private security, and are trained in risk assessment, defensive driving, and emergency response.
