Upcoming Position! We are hiring a full time dispatcher for an afternoon shift that includes weekends! Work with a prominent 3PL in Mississauga and North York! Large fleet experience an asset. This is a Full Time, Long term Opportunity! Amazing work environment! Must be available to travel between Mississauga and Vaughan locations as needed, reliable transportation is needed. Afternoon shifts run Friday to Tuesday! Enjoy having Wednesdays Thursdays off! $24/hour paid weekly every Friday! You will be dispatching and managing drivers from two primary warehouse locations. This is a team environment! While working, you will use general knowledge of tractor trailer equipment. This includes the basic workings of tractors and trailers, the difference between certain types of trailer equipment (Dry vans / Reefers) and equipment doors. What you bring to the role: - 1-2 years experience working in Fleet Dispatching - Experience with TMW dispatch system. - Prior knowledge with the PeopleNet telematics system - Comfortable with managing upwards of 75 drivers per shift and over 300 loads - Communication skills must be strong to keep in contact with drivers and customers continuously throughout the duration of the shift. - Geographical knowledge of Ontario. - Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications is required including Word, Excel and Outlook Web Portal systems; AS400 is an asset Apply today!
