We are currently hiring for a full time Infection Prevention Specialist within the Medical Staff Quality department here at Aspen Valley Health.Work Shift:Days - 8 HourCompensation Range:$39.26 - $62.82Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour!The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.Minimum 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care or critical access hospital setting.Strong understanding of infection control principles, epidemiology basics, and regulatory frameworks (CMS CoPs, CDC/NHSN).Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting data to committees and leadership.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple regulatory deadlines independently.PreferredCertification in Infection Control (CIC) or willingness to obtain within an agreed timeframe.Experience with NHSN reporting platform.Prior experience in a quality, risk management, or performance improvement role.Epic experienceWe will consider equivalent combinations of experience and education for certain jobs.
