● About Facility:
o 16 bed free standing emergency department
o No Trauma Designation, licensed under CMC Main
o Facility offers 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound services
o Limited STAT Outpatient imaging is also provided at this location, weekdays only, max of 6 patients/day
o Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
● Department Information:
o Average 87 ED visits per day
o We perform an average of 8 US studies/day
o Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o We serve ED and limited outpatients at this location.
● Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (S) required.
o BLS
● Skills required:
o General ultrasound imaging
o Vascular experience required
● Support within the Department:
o Does traveler work independently or is there a Dept. Leader there 24/7?
● Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC
o RIS: Epic Radiant
o PACS: Philips iSite
o Department specific Equipment:

● Orientation (facility and unit):
o Administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review, etc.) – 1 day
o 2 days to 1 week departmental (as needed)
● Scheduling:
o Weekend rotation: will be needed; rotation will depend on requisition and needs of department at the time
o No call
o Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
o RTO: Resource Team approval
o Shift times: Varies, Weekdays 8 hr shifts, Weekends 12 hr shifts
