Job description

The Bronx, NY Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting an Endocrinologist.

Responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient general endocrine and diabetes consults, including Thyroid FNA with ultrasound guidance. We are a teaching program and precepting rotating Endocrinology fellows from The Mount Sinai Endocrinology fellowship is an important component of the position. Medical students also rotate with our service on occasion. Teaching responsibilities also include lectures in endocrinology for medical residents at least a few times per year. You would be joining a collegiate team who work together to serve our Veterans, providing them with up to date and comprehensive endocrine/diabetes care.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with occasional weekend coverage of inpatient consults.

Board certification/eligibility in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism is required.
