Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $45hr - $50hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience supporting POS registers, printers, monitors, EMV payment devices, and related peripherals.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, wired and wireless connectivity.
  • Customer-centric mindset with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, support off-hours operations, prioritize competing tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, maintain, and support POS hardware and software systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair POS registers and terminals, receipt and label printers, monitors and customer-facing displays, EMV/chip and contactless payment devices, and cash drawers and peripheral equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues involving POS environments, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Support and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Square POS environments.
  • Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
  • Document incidents, solutions, and system changes accurately.
  • Collaborate with business users, vendors, and internal support teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism when supporting critical business operations.
  • Participate in off-hours support, maintenance windows, and on-call rotations as required.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce, Dynamics 365 Retail, and/or Square POS solutions.

Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible and available to support after-hours, weekends, and critical business events when necessary.

Qualification And Education:

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications.
