Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our dynamic team. The EMT will provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in various settings, including pre-hospital environments. This role requires quick thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of emergency protocols and possess the necessary skills to assess and treat patients in critical situations.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance to patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions, including taking vital signs and performing physical examinations.
  • Administer basic life support and triage patients based on their medical needs.
  • Utilize durable medical equipment (DME) effectively during patient transport and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and communicate findings to receiving medical personnel.
  • Stay current with emergency medical protocols and participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

  • Valid EMT certification from an accredited program.
  • Experience in an emergency room (ER) setting is preferred but not mandatory.
