Overview
This role is responsible for leading the Restaurant Service (RS) and Transportation Backend DevOps team for the supply chain vertical business lines (VBL’s). The team delivers the backend components of multiple products:
- CFA Supply App – Android/IOS/Ipad app that puts supply chain in the hands of restaurant operators and enables customer support.
- RoutCFA App – Android app used by drivers and transportation managers. A critical app that guides drivers through nightly deliveries and safety‑related processes.
- Supply Hub – Web‑based portal for master‑data configuration, ad‑hoc communications to restaurants, restaurant onboarding, and transportation business processes.
This highly productive team delivers releases in an agile fashion to continuously improve existing functionality and deliver new functionality. As a DevOps team, we provide 24/7 on‑call operational support for all developed solutions. The leader must ensure the team designs for failure, intensely addresses root causes, and fixes issues so operational load stays low as system load and complexity increase.
The team works closely with multiple business partners, product owners, designers, and front‑end engineering teams to create and support impactful products.
