Engineer, Battery Cell Manufacturing (Trials and Problem Solving) About This Role A leading automotive EV battery manufacturer is hiring an Engineer for its Battery Cell Department in Liberty, NC (100% onsite), joining a process-and-product advancement and problem-solving group. You will lead planning and problem solving in pre-production trial activity: issue identification, root cause analysis, resolution, recurrence prevention, and project management of trials. You will confirm KPIs, evaluate cell performance with analytical and quality tools, and contribute to process and equipment plans and specifications, while mentoring team members on battery knowledge, trial planning, and data analysis. Location: Liberty, NC (100% Onsite) Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential Extension) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day; weekends and shutdowns as required Travel: Up to 15% (domestic and international, including trips to Japan to test equipment) Overtime: Up to 25% as required Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering or similar; 3 plus years in manufacturing
