Job Description

We're glad you found us! We are an independent and privately owned general dental practice, not a corporation or DSO. We are looking for a long term, compassionate, and motivated dental hygienist. We work hard to provide high quality comprehensive dental care to our family of patients while also supporting each team member everyday. Hours, additional benefits, and wage are negotiable (including a "longevity" bonus and production based bonus).
Our ideal Dental Hygienist is someone who:
1. Is passionate about dental hygiene
2. Is a team player - we are a small office and all help each other
3. Focuses on patient education
4. Wants to learn along with our team
Some topics you may want to know about us:
1. We love our patients and are big on educating them about their dental care, so we allow 60 min or more for adult prophies, 30-40 minutes for kids, 2 hours for SRP, and extended time for difficult cleanings.
2. We want to keep up with technology and love learning! We have digital sensors and a digital PAN for imaging.
3. We offer reimbursement for gaining new skills like an anesthetic license or laser certification, as well as continuing education.
4. We are very flexible and generous in our wages and benefits. Recently, we have added an incentive or bonus program for our providers!
5. We have every Friday off!
6. We use the latest version of Eaglesoft for our practice management software.

Salary Range

Part-time $40 - $46 per hour

A longevity bonus AND on-going production bonuses are also available.

Shift & Schedule

Our business hours are:
Mondays 8 - 5
Tuesdays 8 - 5
Wednesdays 8 - 1
Thursdays 8 - 5
NO weekends
NO holidays
We are willing to negotiate the hygienists preferred hours (between 16 - 27) within these time ranges. Our preferred applicant will be looking for at least 16 hours.

Requirements

• Basic life support
• Eaglesoft
• Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
• General Dentistry
• Licensed dental hygienist
• Local Anesthesia Certification
• X-ray / Radiography Certification
