Job description

Promontory Club, a private luxury mountain club, located in Park City, Utah, is seeking two 2nd Assistant Superintendents to help lead the maintenance and operations of the Jack Nicklaus Painted Valley Signature and the Pete Dye Canyons golf courses. This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with the Lead Assistant and Superintendent to deliver exceptional playing conditions and support ongoing course improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities will be shared/alternated with another 2nd Assistant

Monitor and log water usage in pump houses

Maintain, make adjustments to, and repair Toro irrigation system - additional labor helps provide for larger scale repairs or projects.

Calibrate sprayers and fertilizer spreaders, perform applications, and maintain accurate-detailed records and inventory through GreenKeeper software.

Conduct weekend job assignments and meetings using TaskTracker

Train crew members on all maintenance equipment and golf course practices

Lead team to complete in-house improvement projects

Perform maintenance tasks such as course set up, hand watering, moisture management, and data collection

Winter work consists of snow removal (snowplows, tractors, snow blowers, and hand-shoveling
