Forklift Operator
Greer, SC 29651
Weekend Shift
Fri, Sat, Sun 7am-730pm
$21 an hour


As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely moving stock within the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading shipments, staging materials, and operating various types of powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as:

  • Stand-up and sit-down forklifts
  • Clamp trucks
  • Electric pallet jacks
  • Reach trucks

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other MHE (Material Handling Equipment) 80% of the shift
  • Load, unload, move, and stage products and materials
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy
  • Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues
  • Comply with OSHA and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Assist with physical inventories and other warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of experience operating forklifts or MHE
  • Experience with stand-up equipment and driving in reverse is preferred
  • Familiarity with WMS systems (e.g., SAP, JDA, Blue Yonder) is a plus
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
