Job description

Beast Mode Truckin is seeking experienced Class A drivers for a dedicated, regional account based in Chesapeake, VA. This position offers predictable routes, weekly home time, newer automatic equipment, and competitive compensation with performance incentives.

  • Job type: Dedicated, 100% touch dry van freight
  • Operations: East and North Central regional lanes; mostly Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday work
  • Schedule: Weekly home time on weekends; drivers must be willing to work day or night shifts as required
  • Orientation: Chesapeake, VA
  • Equipment: Newer tractors, automatic transmission
  • Work detail: Drivers are required to load boxes onto an onboard conveyor/roller system; store personnel handle unloading from the conveyor. Drivers are not responsible for removing items from the rollers or stocking store shelves.
  • Average earnings: $1,700 - $1900 per week (varies by miles and stops) $0.90 per mile (typical 1,000+ miles/week)
  • Additional pay: $20 per stop; $240 unload pay per trailer; $100/week safety bonus for delivering two loads with no accidents/incidents
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, 401(k), and paid time off effective after 30 days
  • Minimum qualifications:
    • Age 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL
    • At least 6 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
    • Fair driving record with no major accidents, major citations, or license suspensions within the past 5 years
    • No DUI convictions within the past 5 years
    • No involuntary termination from most recent employment
    • Stable work history (generally no major gaps in employment over the past 10 years); at least 6 months of verifiable work in the last year and at least 1 year within the last 3 years
    • Must be able to pass pre-employment urine and hair drug screens
    • Residence within 70 miles of Chesapeake, VA
    • Felony or misdemeanor convictions within the past 5 years will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
