Job description

TRUCK DRIVER: looking for divers to run within California from valley to Los Angeles area.

Key Duties

  • Inspect the truck: Check brakes, tires, and lights before and after every trip.
  • Manage cargo: Ensure items are packed tightly so they do not fall or break.
  • Log hours: Keep a safe digital record of driving and rest times.
  • Navigate routes: Use GPS to avoid bad traffic and get to the destination on time to avoid late fees to the company.
  • Driver's license: A special Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required to drive heavy trucks.
  • Clean record: Drivers must have a safe driving history, however two violations would be acceptable.
  • Stamina: ability sit for many hours while driving.
