Driver Position

Peachtree Hills Place, a premier life plan community, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services for our members to various activities, including medical appointments, shopping centers, and community events. The Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring our members' comfort, safety, and satisfaction during transit.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Safely transport members to and from scheduled destinations, including medical appointments, shopping centers, and community events.
  • Ensure vehicles are in good working condition by conducting regular inspections and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Assist members with boarding and exiting the vehicle, providing special assistance to those with mobility aids or other special needs.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful demeanor at all times.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the safety of passengers and others on the road.
  • Keep accurate records of vehicle mileage, trip logs, transportation requests, and other relevant documentation.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of vehicles, including regular cleaning and disinfecting.
  • Coordinate transportation schedules with other staff members to meet the needs of the community.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience driving a passenger vehicle, shuttle bus, or similar vehicle is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
