Position Summary

Forklift Operator, under direct supervision, is responsible for successfully moving materials throughout the facility operating a forklift, including unloading raw materials and moving finished products to designated area. Will perform other duties as assigned by production supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate forklift safely.
  • Load and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.
  • Store the products in proper places in manufacturing facility.
  • Deliver products to various units in safely and timely manner.
  • Sort, pack, wrap, tie and label products as per company procedures.
  • Utilize company tracking system to ensure accuracy of all product movement.
  • Prepare and complete paperwork associated with manufacturing.
  • Follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive work atmosphere.
  • May perform other duties as assigned including general housekeeping
Job Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
