Midland Transport Limitedis currently seeking professional Class 1 Michelin Team Truck Driver. The Drivers/team can be based out of any major city in the Maritimes including, but not limited to Fredericton, Moncton, Halifax, Saint John and Charlottetown. 
 

The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and strong commitment to providing Superior Quality Service.  
 

What we offer: 

    Pay rate: $0.361 per mile.
    Safety and fuel bonus paid quarterly. 
    Pick-ups, drops, and wait times are paid (restrictions apply).

    Class 1 driver's license with a minimum of 4 years of safe, commercial tractor-trailer driving experience.
    Clean driver's abstract and criminal search. 
    Demonstrated ability to work in ateam environment.
    Eligibility to receive a FAST card.
    Eligibility to cross the border with US.
    Familiarity with satellite systems.
    Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability. 
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
    Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
    Safety conscious. 
    Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends.

    Running Linehaul from Maritimes to South Carolina - 2 trips each run and 3 days off between runs.  
    Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery.
    Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage. 
    Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers.
    Operate tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws. 
    Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
    Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner.
