Job description

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience

We are looking forskilled dozer, excavator, and trackhoe operators for civil construction projects, including commercial, public infrastructure, and subdivision work.


What You Will Do


  • Operate heavy equipment safely to cut, fill, backfill, grade, and load material.
  • Work with the Foreman and crew to build pads, roads, utilities, and other site work.
  • Check the work area, soil, and conditions before you start work.
  • Perform basic daily maintenance: grease, fuel, clean, and inspect your machine.
  • Help the crew with labor when needed (shoveling, checking grade, setting pipe, cleanup).
  • Follow all safety rules and wear required safety gear.


What We Need From You

  • At least 5 years of experience running dozers, excavators, or trackhoes on construction sites.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid North Carolina drivers license.
  • Able to climb on and off equipment, sit for long periods, and work outdoors in all weather.
  • Able to work full time on a 4/10 schedule and work overtime and some Saturdays when needed.
  • Able to read simple plans and grade stakes or willing to learn.
  • Team attitude, reliable, and willing to take direction from the Foreman.

4/10 workweek: four 10hour days each week, with regular overtime required during peak periods.
