Dogtopia Front Desk Coordinator

Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services, is seeking a high-energy, sales-driven Front Desk Coordinator to be the face of our brand.

This role is ideal for someone who loves dogs, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys building relationships while driving sales.

You are the first and last impression for every pet parent — and you set the tone for their entire experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Sales

  • Greet all pet parents and pups with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Serve as the primary sales contact for daycare, boarding, memberships, and spa services
  • Convert leads and host Meet & Greet evaluations for new dogs
  • Follow up with prospective clients via phone, text, and email
  • Drive membership sales, package upgrades, and add-on services
  • Deliver exceptional service that leads to high customer satisfaction and reviews

Operations & Administration

  • Manage daycare and boarding check-ins/check-outs using proprietary software
  • Maintain accurate client profiles and vaccination records
  • Answer and manage incoming calls and inquiries
  • Process payments, handle cash, and perform opening/closing balancing procedures
  • Coordinate with veterinarians to verify health documentation

Safety & Cleanliness

  • Maintain a clean, organized lobby and front desk area
  • Ensure safety and sanitation protocols are followed
  • Monitor dog behavior in lobby areas and escalate concerns as needed

Requirements:

Must be available nights and weekends and some Holidays


Night hours are M-F 130 pm to 8 pm and weekend hours can very but are normally 9am to 5pm.


You will not always be scheduled these hours but it is a requirement to be available to work the, if needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Passionate about dogs
  • Customer service and sales experience required
  • Proven ability to upsell services or memberships preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to multitask
  • Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes (up to 100+ lbs)
  • Abilityto lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced setting requiring both computer work and standing
  • Regula interaction with dogs of all breeds and temperaments
