Job description

Per Diem Weekend RN Night Supervisor (Sat/Sun night shift) – $50 per hour! - Access earned wages prior to payday!!!  $2.00 Shift Differential!

Crescent Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located in scenic Bennington, VT, is actively seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have prior experience leading and training clinical staff in a long-term care setting. A current Registered Nurse license is required.

DUTIES:

  • Ensure LPN’s and LNA’s adhere to appropriate policy, procedure and practice

  • Assure the implementation of resident care plans/update care plans as required

  • Conduct assessments for admissions or residents with a change in condition

  • Communicate effectively with all disciplines

  • Keep the Director of Nursing informed of information regarding changes in resident condition, emergency situations, incidents/accidents as required

  • Review, investigate and document all incidents/accidents properly

  • Evaluate emergency situations and take action appropriately

  • Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required

  • Perform paperwork in accordance with regulations

  • Complete documentation as required

  • Prepare and administer medications as necessary and as ordered by the physician

  • Receive and record orders as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current VT RN license required

  • Min. 1 yr. exp. in Long-Term Care settings

  • 1 year management experience preferred

  • Excellent Communication Skills required

  • Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision

  • BLS certification (preferred)

Crescent Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a charming, well-maintained, 90-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in Bennington, VT.  Crescent Manor houses a specialty Dementia Unit and a specialty Huntington’s Disease unit.   Our staff is committed to ensuring the highest quality of life and care for all our residents, in a warm, nurturing environment.
