Hybrid - On Site and Telework (Must live in Austin TX area)

I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports.

Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.

Seeking a Senior Data Analyst with experience in business and data analysis, including leading JAD sessions, eliciting requirements, and documenting business processes and analytical findings. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills with the ability to develop and execute complex queries and joins, perform data quality analysis, and translate business needs into actionable insights. Experience designing dashboards, KPIs, and performance measures to support data-driven decision-making is required.

Position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework (Austin, Texas 78751). Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA (Within 50-mile radius).

Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mondays and Thursdays) required to be onsite.

Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. The worker may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested.
