Job Summary Position is responsible for the data analysis, quality control, and general data administration within DPW Operations' asset and workflow management solutions. At the direction of the Program Manager: Data & Tech, the position collaborates with Garage Superintendents and Union Management, assists with weather events, and participates in special projects. Position Responsibilities Conducts daily data management of DPW Operations' work orders.
Performs analysis of DPW Operations' data, including quality control on elements such as labor costs, material costs and usage, location of work completed, and production outputs. Coordinates regularly with Garage Superintendents and Union Management on daily work logs and process improvements. Conducts queries and provides regular reporting to assist with procurement, financial planning, workflow management, and resource alignment.
Verifies Service Requests have been closed as work orders are inputted - ensuring the Mayor's Action Center's data is accurate and up-to-date. Assists with all snow events across Marion County, including tracking plow movement and schedules, salt usage, and general support to Operations Management. Provides technical assistance and oversight to DPW garages during annual benefit selection period, and regularly collaborates with DPW finance/payroll teams to support DPW Operations.
Assists DPW Dispatch and other Operations staff as needed. Qualifications High School diploma and/or GED, and at least one (1) year experience in a general office environment.
Experience with Microsoft Outlook. Effective communication skills and the ability to interact tactfully with a variety of individuals. Effective record keeping, time management and project management skills.

After hours and weekend duties are required at times due to weather events. Travel between DPW garages may be requested on a rare basis.
