Job description

Quality Control Inspector – Tulsa, OK

Great opportunity to join a growing energy and environmental company that is bringing its Quality team in-house. This is an onsite, hands-on QC role focused on ensuring fabricated equipment meets drawings, customer specifications, and applicable AWS/ASME standards.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections throughout fabrication and production.
  • Inspect welds, blast/paint, insulation, liner plate installation, finished products, and final load-outs.
  • Read blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings.
  • Document inspections with reports, photos, NCRs, ITPs, and quality records.
  • Work directly with vendors, production teams, customers, and project/document control teams to address quality issues and corrective actions.
  • Support audits, ISO procedures, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

What they’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of shop QC or third-party inspection experience preferred.
  • Strong experience in welding, steel fabrication, paint, and metal manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes.
  • Understanding of AWS/ASME codes and standards.
  • Strong blueprint/drawing interpretation and measurement skills.
  • CWI certification and ISO 9001 experience are preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working around welding, fabrication, and heavy equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Details:

  • Tulsa, OK | Onsite Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
  • Approximately $90-100K + profit sharing
  • Occasional travel/weekend work may be required
  • Target start: September 2026
