Job description

We are seeking a team coach for NGA Girls gymnastics competitive levels. This is a part-time to full time opportunity. You're going to love working here. Apply and meet the leadership team.
Hours per week: 20-35 hours - afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Plus competition travel.
Pay: $20.00- $28.00 per hour.
Commensurate with the background and experience of the applicant. Additional pay is available for session-based competitions and travel as well as private lesson income.
Qualifications:
  • Proven coaching experience with NGA gymnastics.
  • Former competitive gymnastics experience required.
  • High energy and enthusiasm for working with children of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to coach both beginners (as young as 4 years old) and advanced NGA Diamond competitors.

Training/Education:
  • CPR with AED & First Aid certification (required within first 30 days and maintained annually).
  • Highschool Diploma is required any college education is a plus.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Skills:
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership abilities in working with coaches, athletes, and families.
  • Professional demeanor aligned with positive coaching development.
  • Passion for fostering a supportive, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment.

Duties:
  • Lead and oversee all four levels of NGA team athletes.
  • Collaborate closely with Site Managers, JO Head Coaches, and Program Coordinators.
  • Set the tone and example for athlete development and program goals.
  • Work with Advanced Rec and Rec League programs to identify and advance athletes into NGA.
  • Report directly to the Site Manager, with oversight from the Team Manager regarding training plans, calendars, and competition expectations.
