Job description

Care for the smallest patients during their most critical moments.

We’re seeking compassionate and skilled NICU Registered Nurses who are dedicated to providing high‐acuity, family‐centered care to critically ill and premature newborns. If you combine strong clinical expertise with empathy and precision, this role offers meaningful impact every shift.

Schedule

  • 7p | 12‐Hour Shifts
  • Per Diem flexibility

What You’ll Do

  • Provide specialized nursing care to premature and critically ill neonates in the NICU
  • Continuously monitor vital signs, oxygenation, and developmental status
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, nutrition, and advanced therapies per provider orders
  • Operate and manage NICU equipment including incubators, ventilators, and infusion pumps
  • Assess and respond quickly to changes in neonatal condition or emergencies
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Support, educate, and communicate with families during emotionally sensitive situations
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

What We’re Looking For

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU experience required
  • BLS required (NRP required; PALS a plus if applicable)
  • Strong neonatal assessment and critical‐thinking skills
  • Experience caring for premature, low‐birth‐weight, or medically complex infants
  • Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, family‐centered approach
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and detail‐oriented in a high‐acuity environment
