Job description

Welcome to Love's!Our FP&A Department is seeking aBusiness Intelligence Analyst who will analyze data and create impactful visuals to support strategic decision-making. By integrating multiple data sources, you will transform raw data into compelling reports and interactive dashboards. A crucial aspect of your role will involve collaborating and building strong relationships with teams across Love’s business. You will design and develop solutions that empower business users to identify opportunities and monitor KPIs that drive our growth. This position will act as a subject matter expert in effectively presenting insights, with a focus on Power BI. Your contributions will be essential in delivering insights that align with our objectives and propel our success. *This individual is expected to work onsite at our Oklahoma City office four days per week, with the option to work remotely one day per week.*

Job Functions:
  • Utilize SQL to build datasets and Power BI to create interactive web-based dashboards, ensuring leadership and stakeholders are informed about organizational goal progress.
  • Identify, automate, and validate the extraction of new metrics from various data sources.
  • Collaborate closely with the business stakeholders and technology teams to deeply understand business needs and guide the design of analyses/reports.
  • Effectively present data using analytics and visualization tools to support informed decision-making.
  • Create detailed analytical reports, simplifying complex data into clear visual insights.
  • Merge internal and external datasets, conducting thorough statistical analyses to highlight competitive advantages.
  • Develop strong relationships with technical teams and domain experts.
  • Offer ongoing consulting and support for reporting and analytics as needed.
  • Approach all project requests with flexibility and curiosity to enable more effective problem-solving.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when identifying and resolving issues during debugging and detecting data anomalies.
  • Effectively manage time to complete job responsibilities, communicate expectations, and meet deadlines efficiently.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • BA/BS minimum, Masters preferred, in a relevant field, such as business analytics, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, management information systems, computer science, engineering, or other quantitative fields.
  • 3-5+ years’ experience preferred in accounting, finance, retail, sales, business analytics or operations with exposure to reporting and analytics.
  • At least 3 years of experience required using Power BI visualization software for data analysis and reporting.
  • At least 3 years of hands‑on experience writing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
  • Proficiency in reporting, data management, and analytics tools, including creating ad‑hoc reports.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional teams.
  • Understanding of visualization principles and familiarity with designing effective dashboards.
  • Proven troubleshooting and issue resolution skills in data‑related tasks.
  • Ability to create, interpret, and communicate technical documentation for training and end users.
