About Right Side Up

Please note, this posting is to highlight joining Right Side Up's talent collective specifically and is not representing an internal full-time role, or a current opportunity with a client.

Right Side Up is a collective of premium marketing talent-with all of the marketing chops, and none of the agency fluff. We're trusted by the most respected early-stage ventures, the fastest-growing tech companies, and well-established Fortune 500 teams to do one thing better: Growth. We have over 250+ clients including Stitch Fix, Sephora, Yelp, Sun Basket, Crunchbase, DoorDash, Calm, and more.

About the Role

We're seeking freelance Marketing Analytics Consultants to join our talent collective and support a range of clients across industries. This role is ideal for data-driven marketers who can translate complex data into actionable insights, helping teams make smarter decisions and drive measurable growth.

Projects may include building analytics frameworks, implementing tracking systems, developing attribution models, and creating reporting across multiple marketing channels. Contract engagements typically range from 10-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement marketing analytics frameworks to measure performance across channels

  • Set up and manage tracking systems (e.g., GA4, AppsFlyer, Segment, Mixpanel)

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting to monitor KPIs and campaign performance

  • Analyze data across paid, organic, lifecycle, and product channels to identify insights and opportunities

  • Develop and refine attribution models to better understand channel impact

  • Support Media Mix Modeling (MMM) and other advanced measurement approaches

  • Partner with marketing, product, and data teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment

  • Translate data into clear recommendations for stakeholders

Requirements
  • Strong foundation in marketing analytics and performance measurement

  • Experience with analytics and attribution tools (e.g., GA4, AppsFlyer, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment)

  • Experience building dashboards using tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar

  • Familiarity with attribution methodologies (multi-touch attribution, incrementality testing, MMM)

  • Ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders

  • Comfort working across multiple channels and marketing functions

Nice to Have
  • Experience with SQL or data modeling

  • Familiarity with data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake)

  • Experience in high-growth startup environments

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
