IT Intern (R2862) Company: HireNow Staffing (Direct Placement Partner) HireNow Snapshot HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a highly motivated IT Intern to join one of our valued client partners. This internship is ideal for students pursuing careers in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical fields who are eager to gain practical, hands-on experience supporting enterprise technology environments. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced IT professionals while assisting with technical support, infrastructure maintenance, network administration, hardware and software troubleshooting, and day-to-day technology operations. This opportunity is designed for individuals who enjoy learning new technologies, solving technical problems, and building a strong foundation for a long-term IT career. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level technical support for end users experiencing hardware or software issues.
  • Assist with workstation setup, deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Support IT infrastructure projects involving computers, peripherals, and enterprise systems.
  • Help maintain network equipment and assist with basic network administration tasks.
  • Troubleshoot operating system, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Document technical procedures, support activities, and system updates.
  • Assist with user account management and technology onboarding activities.
  • Participate in IT improvement initiatives and technology rollouts.
  • Learn and apply industry best practices for information technology operations.
  • Collaborate with IT team members while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and computer hardware.
  • Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must currently reside within one of the approved hiring markets.
