Requirements: Minimum years of RN experience: 2 years Travel experience: Required Required certification: BLS Experience with cardiac procedures: CABG, valve procedures, aortic aneurysm repair, MAZE, pericardial window Familiarity with cardiac support devices: IABP, LVAD/RVAD, femoral cannulation Cardiac monitoring, administration of blood/blood products, universal protocol (time out) Sterile technique, specimen handling/labeling, electrosurgical units

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular operating room. Assist with surgical procedures and manage patient care before, during, and after procedures.
