Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Emergency Medicine Physician at CHI St. Vincent, you will be joining a thriving, well-established group with over four decades of unparalleled longevity in Hot Springs, Arkansas. In this role, you will expertly manage and treat a broad spectrum of acute emergencies and complex trauma cases, utilizing advanced technology and collaborative spirit. You'll drive efficient patient flow and work seamlessly with our renowned specialist teams, reinforcing CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs' reputation as a leader in emergency healthcare.

  • High-Impact Environment: Join Arkansas busiest Level II Trauma Center, managing over 52,000 annual patient visits

  • Optimized Facility: 32-bed Emergency Department, featuring four dedicated, advanced trauma rooms

  • Excellent Provider Coverage: 59 hours of physician coverage & 12 hours APP support daily, ensuring a manageable 1.8 patients/hour average.

  • Provider-Friendly Schedule: Flexible scheduling requests accommodated, staggered shifts and fair distribution of nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine

  • Active Medical License in the State of Arkansas, or ability to obtain prior to employment

  • Completion of ACGME Emergency Medicine Residency

  • Active ACLS and PALS
