Craftsman – Skilled Trades Professional
Location: Illinois Region (required to report to the job site as scheduled)
Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Compensation: $24.25 – $26.75 per hour + overtime potential

What You Will Do
  • Perform skilled commercial/industrial painting and coatings work
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality craftsmanship while meeting production expectations
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Recognize and report hazards; help maintain a safe job site
  • Use tools, materials, and equipment properly and efficiently (E.g., Boom lifts, Sprayers, Blasting, etc.)
  • Participate in ongoing training and career development
  • Work with minimal on-site supervision while supporting a highly engaged crew

Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ year commercial or industrial painting/coatings experience
  • Strong safety awareness and knowledge
  • Experience using trade tools, materials, and equipment
  • Valid driver's license + clean MVR
  • Reliable transportation (job sites may vary)
  • Successful completion of drug and alcohol screening
  • High school diploma preferred

Preferred Skills
  • Quick learner with strong production awareness
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced, active environment
  • OSHA‑10 knowledge (certification a plus)
  • Stage work (preferred but not required)

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 15–50 lbs
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, ladder work
  • Use of power tools and equipment as required
Working Conditions
  • This position requires working indoors and outdoors at various job sites. Employees may be exposed to heat, cold, dust, humidity, and other environmental conditions. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical tasks safely in changing environmental conditions.
