Job description

Duties * You will plan and coordinate the requirements for the movement of all ordinance. * You will monitor the movement of ordinance and maintain continuous contact with essential personnel in the movement convoy, while analyzing and plotting the location and movement of the weapons. * .You will prepare various documents, records, and reports to demonstrate compliance with ordinance accountability and control regulations and requirements during movements. * You will take action in emergency type situations such as accident/incidents, foul weather, emergency calls/messages, incoming explosive shipments, explosive mishaps, and crane mishaps. * You will maintain the computerized Command Log to document the activities of the command to include all/any significant events and monitor message traffic after working hours and on weekends. * You will monitor electronic media for security and environmental intrusions, faults and excursions, and initiate, and direct required corrective actions, and make appropriate notifications throughout the command structure. Requirements Conditions of employment * Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. * New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-01 (GS-04 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: - Completing complex assignments independently, managing workload and priorities with minimal supervision. - Reviewing and interpreting technical instructions, specifications, and blueprints to support operational tasks. - Operating multiple computer systems and used Microsoft Office applications to produce reports, track data, and support daily workflow. - Performing effectively during urgent, high-pressure, or rapidly evolving situations, maintaining accuracy and sound judgment. - Conveying information clearly and professionally, including preparing written documentation and delivering verbal briefings to varied audiences.
