Position Summary:

Terral RiverService, Inc. is seeking to hire a skilled and responsible Inland Services Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate various types of equipment used in inland transportation and logistics, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within our organization. The primary responsibilities include operating equipment such as forklifts, cranes, bobcats, front end loaders, and other specialized machinery. It is essential that the Equipment Operator adheres to safety protocols and guidelines while employed here.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Operate inland services equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load and unload cargo from trucks, containers, and other transportation vehicles.
  • Conduct routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Follow established procedures for the handling and storage of different types of cargo.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of the storage yard and warehouse.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate and prioritize tasks.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation related to equipment operation and cargo handling.
Requirements:

Skills and Expertise:

  • Proven experience as an equipment operator, preferably in inland services or logistics.
