• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy, employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and mindfulness approaches suited to hospice care.
• Collaborate closely with clients and their families to establish personalized treatment plans, ensuring all interventions are tailored to each person’s unique circumstances and needs.
• Maintain an environment of confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines to uphold client trust and security.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training to stay updated with best practices and therapeutic innovations.

In this role, you will work primarily with clients in hospice care who are coping with terminal illnesses. It entails addressing complex emotional responses, grief, and existential concerns that arise in the face of death and dying. Your expertise will empower clients and their families to engage in meaningful conversations, facilitating acceptance and emotional peace during one of life’s most challenging phases.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required, ensuring a solid theoretical foundation for clinical practice.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory to practice and provide therapy services.
• At least two years of clinical experience, preferably in a hospice or end-of-life care setting, is essential to navigate the unique challenges of this client demographic.
