This Opportunity
WSP USA is currently seeking a Construction Inspector to join our Program and Construction Management team based in Columbia, Maryland.
The candidate will serve as a Construction Inspector to support our Construction Management and Inspection services related to Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Projects in Charles County, Maryland.
This includes but not limited to: water distribution systems, treatment facilities, wastewater collection systems, and pump stations.
Your Impact
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide daily site inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications and codes and maintain up-to-date project records.
  • Review Contractor submittals, requests for information, change order requests, and as-built drawings.
  • Measure and record pay items.
  • Attend job progress meeting.
  • Communicate conditions and field conflicts/changes to Owner.
  • Work closely with others team members, along with personnel from utilities, state, local, and federal agencies.
  • Demonstrate independent and effective problem solving/decision making.

Who You Are
Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Water/Wastewater/Stormwater pumping stations & treatment plants.
  • Experience in field inspection, or construction supervision of facilities projects.
  • High School Diploma
  • Must possess knowledge and experience in ASTM, ACI, and other miscellaneous construction testing requirements, as well as knowledge in construction inspection procedures, and inspections methodologies, including and construction safety.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication and organizational skills

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $72,500 - 84,900
