The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ONYX lighting software and Windows-based computers and is comfortable operating lighting systems in a live, high-energy nightclub environment. You should have a strong understanding of lighting cues, effects, programming, and live operation, as well as the ability to respond quickly to changes in music, performances, and crowd energy.
This position requires someone who is reliable, creative, technically skilled, and comfortable working late nights and weekends. Experience in nightclubs, concerts, DJs, live entertainment, or event production is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Operate the club’s lighting and visual systems using ONYX lighting software on a Windows computer.
  • Create and execute lighting looks, cues, effects, and transitions that complement DJs, music, and special events.
  • Operate lighting live during club nights, responding to changes in music, performances, and crowd energy.
  • Prepare, test, and troubleshoot lighting and visual equipment before and during events.
  • Work closely with DJs, management, and entertainment staff to coordinate lighting and visual effects.
  • Maintain organized lighting scenes, shows, presets, and system settings to ensure consistent operation.
  • Support the overall atmosphere and visual presentation of House of Flavors by delivering an energetic, polished, and engaging lighting experience.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating DMX-controlled lighting systems in a nightclub, concert, DJ, event, or live entertainment environment.
  • Strong understanding of lighting cues, scenes, effects, color, movement, and timing.
  • Ability to operate lighting systems live and in real time while responding to music, DJs, performances, and crowd energy.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for lighting fixtures, controllers, DMX connections, and related equipment.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and late-night hours, particularly during Friday–Sunday club operations.
  • Reliable, attentive, creative, and able to work independently in a fast-paced nightclub environment.
