Job description

A night on our precision team

Join our collaborative manufacturing crew on the night shift and help us transform raw material into tight-tolerance components that keep our customers moving. You’ll work three 12-hour nights—Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday—so you get long stretches of daytime freedom the rest of the week.

What your night looks like

You arrive to a clean, organized cell. You review the job travelers, confirm tools, and load programs. On one job you’re setting up a 2–4 axis CNC lathe (Mazak/Okuma); on the next you’re dialing in a 5+ axis VMC (Haas/Okuma). You read blueprints and CAD data, verify offsets, cut the first piece, and check critical dimensions. When something’s off, you troubleshoot, adjust G-code or tooling, and bring the process back into spec. You document what you did so the next run is even smoother, and you wrap up by cleaning down the machine and staging the next job—safely, every time.

Core responsibilities
  • Set up and run CNC mills and lathes to meet part specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections to required tolerances.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain CNC equipment for consistent performance.
  • Record production details and keep accurate, traceable documentation.
  • Follow safety procedures while maintaining a tidy, well-organized workspace.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; machining trade school or certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of proven CNC experience on mills and lathes.
  • Solid understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools and gauges.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and prints.
  • Keen problem-solving, attention to detail, and a teamwork mindset.
Schedule

Night shift: three 12-hour shifts (Monday–Wednesday nights).
