Job description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced CNC Operators for one of our top manufacturing clients in Valdosta, GA. This position offers a consistent schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to transition into a permanent career.

Schedule & Pay

  • Monday – Thursday: 2nd

    shift – 10 hrs./ day

  • Pay: $18- $27/hr. based on experience

  • Position Type: Temporary with Permanent Career Possibilities

CNC Lathe Operator Responsibilities

  • Load and operate CNC machinery
  • Observe and maintain machines for proper operation
  • Assist in machine set-up and shut-off
  • Troubleshoot machine issues with assistance or supervision
  • Complete work safely with strong attention to detail

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Technical school education with a relevant concentration preferred
  • 1+ years of experience using CNC mills, lathes, and/or drills
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 35 lbs throughout the shift
  • Ability to comprehend and apply basic mathematical skills
  • Enjoy working in a team-oriented environment
