Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, modernization, and governance of enterprise cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will define cloud strategy, architect secure and scalable solutions, drive cloud transformation initiatives, and provide technical leadership across application, infrastructure, data, networking, and security domains.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Strategy

· Define enterprise cloud architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.

· Design scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

· Develop cloud adoption roadmaps and migration strategies.

· Lead cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.

Infrastructure & Platform Design

· Architect solutions using Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Functions, and Anthos.

· Design multi-region and high-availability architectures.

· Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automation tools.

· Drive cloud operational excellence through monitoring, automation, and governance.

Networking & Security

· Design VPCs, Hybrid Connectivity, Cloud Interconnect, VPNs, Load Balancers, and DNS services.

· Implement Zero Trust security principles and cloud security controls.

· Architect Identity & Access Management (IAM) policies and governance.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards such as GDPR, SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST.

Cloud Migration & Modernization

· Lead migration of applications, servers, databases, and workloads to Google Cloud Platform.

Data & Analytics

DevOps & Automation
