The Opportunity:
Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing infrastructure architect on our team, you'll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions.
You'll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI. You'll have the chance to grow your skills within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal labs, you'll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients' problems, and you'll work with your team and stakeholders to deliver the right technical solutions. Whether helping to modernize legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you'll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

You Have:
  • 6+ years of experience with supporting operations and maintenance for secure DoD information management systems
  • 6+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems and command-line interfaces
  • 3+ years of experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Ansible, or YAML
  • 3+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • 3+ years of experience with the Linux Operating System
  • Experience hardening government systems following STIG requirements
  • Ability to support 24/7 shift work, including nights and weekends
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of hire date

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with deploying and managing containers using Kubernetes or Docker
  • Experience with provisioning cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform
  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies
  • Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering concepts
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
