Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) - Huntsville, AL
Full-Time
Hourly Rate: $16-$18 per hour

Serving children, ages 2 โ€“ 8, The Autism Clinic offers applied behavior analytic services (ABA), parent and family guidance, and in some settings, speech therapy. What You Will Do:

  • Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Hope Autism Clinic to teach children with ASD using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their childโ€™s progress.
  • Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.
  • Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities.
  • Model professional appearance and attitudes.

What You Will Bring:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Successful background clearance.

What We Prefer:

  • Associateโ€™s or Bachelorโ€™s degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field.
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Enthusiasm for working with children.
  • Has obtained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
