The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a Human Resources Manager to join our HR team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. As an HR Manager, you will oversee team member onboarding, training, compliance, and employee relations, and be an important partner for your local and enterprise HR team.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $80,169 - $105,800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition and HR Operations teams to attract, hire, and onboard new team members
  • Be a bridge between your local and wider HR team; advocate for consistent best practices and share knowledge unique to your location
  • Develop and deliver training to new and existing team members, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of their job functions, policies, procedures, and opportunities for growth
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conducting investigations and complaint resolution
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Must have a flexible availabiliy to accomodate varying work schedules
More about you
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Generalist and at least 2 years as an HR Manager
  • Previous experience using iCIMS, Workday, or similar HRIS system
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field preferred; PHR or SPHR certification is a plus
  • Hospitality and events based experience a plus
  • Seattle union experience required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Independent problem-solving and analytical abilities
