Full-Time General Cleaner

We are currently hiring a Full-Time General Cleaner/Janitor for a facility in the Lodi area. We are looking for a reliable and flexible individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, working as part of a team, and completing a variety of cleaning tasks.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
  • Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour
  • Spanish-speaking preferred, but not required
  • Driver’s license is not required
  • Free parking available on site
  • Reliable personal transportation required because Lodi District buildings are not accessible are not accessible by bus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Clean classrooms, stairways, restrooms, and common areas
  • Sweep and mop floors
  • Empty trash and recycling
  • Wipe down tables and other surfaces
  • Dust and vacuum assigned areas
  • Maintain the cleanliness of designated buildings and areas
  • Complete all cleaning duties assigned by the supervisor or manager

After completing training, the cleaner will be expected to work independently while maintaining their assigned area and route.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Dust and clean surfaces, including desktops, cabinet tops, partitions, and other designated areas.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to the designated disposal area.
  • Sweep and mop hard-surface floors.
  • Vacuum floors using upright vacuums and/or backpack vacuums.
  • Spot-clean carpets as needed.
  • Clean and maintain glass surfaces.
  • Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, and other restroom surfaces.
  • Clean restrooms and ensure all necessary supplies are fully stocked.
  • Polish metal fixtures, fittings, and other designated surfaces.
  • Perform additional duties or work in assigned areas as directed by the customer, supervisor, or manager.
  • Follow all company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
