Stout's Island Lodge is a beautiful, upscale lakeside resort located in the heart of the picturesque Birchwood, Wisconsin. Known for our breathtaking views and exceptional guest experience, we offer a one-of-a-kind culinary experience featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients and innovative dishes. We are seeking a passionate and skilled line cook to join our dynamic kitchen team.

Position Summary:

The Line Cook will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to prepare and execute menu items to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, an eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to Stout's Island Lodge recipes and standards.

Ensure consistency and quality in every dish, paying close attention to presentation and portion control.

Work efficiently in a team environment to meet service timelines.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.

Follow all food safety regulations and ensure proper handling and storage of food items.

Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring inventory is stocked and organized.

Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

Handle food prep and assist with menu item development as directed by the Head Chef.
