General Janitoral Cleaner
Janitorial / Custodial Associate

Location: Covington.

Michelin facility Full-time 6A-2:30P or 7am-3pm

Pay Rate: $13 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Associate to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. This role is essential to daily operations and requires consistency, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean assigned areas by emptying trash, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using approved chemicals.
  • Dust furniture to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms using proper disinfectants and equipment.
Safety & Compliance
  • Monitor building security, including locking doors after operating hours.
  • Use approved cleaning chemicals safely, following Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times when handling cleaning agents.
Operational Expectations
  • Arrive on time and complete assigned tasks within the scheduled shift.
  • Report equipment issues or repair needs promptly to the Supervisor.
  • Cross-train in additional duties or work areas as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
