Job description

Hull & Fiber Operator - Headland, AL
ADM - Golden Peanut
This is a full time, hourly position 
Job Requirements:
To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Ability to learn and understand necessary quality controls and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability and desire to plan, organize and perform with limited supervision
  • Valid Driver License
  • Able to operate a commercial vehicle
  • Able to operate a skid steer/front-end loader
  • Able to learn and complete necessary paperwork
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Able to meet physical requirements of the position, including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces, from heights: bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.) and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Willing and able to work shift with variable start time, weekends and holidays, as needed
  • Willing and able to work overtime (as needed), during seed and harvest seasons
  • Demonstrate initiative to work independently, while flexible enough to work in a team setting (when needed)
  • Exhibit a professional image at all times, maintain a positive and respectful attitude
Job Responsibilities:
  • Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture
  • Full compliance with all Employee Safety and Food Safety laws, regulations and rules of Golden Peanut Company and ADM
  • Perform and assist with the following:
    • Collecting hull samples
    • Loading hull trucks
    • Load sample truck and deliver samples to lab
    • Check oil & clean air filters on front-end loader
    • Monitor and report warehouse levels
    • Fill out corresponding paperwork for trucks & sampling
    • Perform sanitation in work area.
  • General machinery operation
  • Perform and follow all safety procedures outlined in company written procedures
  • Work cooperatively with Management Team and co-workers
  • Exhibit prompt and regular attendance
  • Any other duties assigned by Supervisor
