We're looking for an experienced RN leader to serve as our Hospice & Palliative Care Clinical Supervisor - overseeing clinical operations, supporting field staff, and ensuring the highest standard of comfort-focused care across both service lines. In the interim, this role will also carry a patient caseload, conducting hospice and palliative care visits in the field. This is a meaningful leadership opportunity with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and top-quartile pay.
Compensation
- $41.00 โ $45.00 per hour, based on experience
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
- Full-time / 40 hours per week

Cleveland / Northeast Ohio | Monday โ Friday, standard business hours.
What You'll Do
Clinical Supervision:
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision to Hospice and Palliative Care field staff including RNs, LPNs, aides, and support personnel
- Monitor caseloads, patient outcomes, and quality indicators across both service lines
- Conduct field visits, joint visits, and competency observations to support staff performance and patient care quality
- Serve as a clinical resource and subject matter expert for the interdisciplinary team
- Support onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training and development of clinical staff
- Collaborate with leadership to develop, implement, and refine hospice and palliative care protocols and workflows
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, CHAP accreditation standards, and agency policies
- Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and regulatory readiness activities
- Assist with on-call coverage and after-hours clinical support as needed
Field-Based Patient Care (Interim):
- Conduct hospice and palliative care visits in the field as needed while staffing levels are being built out
- Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the established plan of care
- Administer medications and treatments focused on comfort, symptom management, and quality of life
- Support goals-of-care conversations and provide education and emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR within required timeframes

Requirements
Must-Have:
- Active RN license (Ohio) + current BLS certification
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience in hospice, palliative care, or a related setting
- Minimum 1 year of clinical leadership or supervisory experience
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license with ability to travel throughout the Cleveland / Northeast Ohio service area
- Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid hospice regulations and CHAP accreditation standards
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
- CHPN certification or willingness to pursue
- Prior experience supervising interdisciplinary hospice or palliative care teams
- Experience with quality assurance, performance improvement, or regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with HCHB or similar home health/hospice EMR
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and team development skills
