What You'll Do

Clinical Supervision:

  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision to Hospice and Palliative Care field staff including RNs, LPNs, aides, and support personnel
  • Monitor caseloads, patient outcomes, and quality indicators across both service lines
  • Conduct field visits, joint visits, and competency observations to support staff performance and patient care quality

  • Support onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training and development of clinical staff
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop, implement, and refine hospice and palliative care protocols and workflows
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, CHAP accreditation standards, and agency policies
  • Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and regulatory readiness activities
  • Assist with on-call coverage and after-hours clinical support as needed

  • Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the established plan of care
  • Administer medications and treatments focused on comfort, symptom management, and quality of life
  • Support goals-of-care conversations and provide education and emotional support to patients and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR within required timeframes

What Sets VNA Apart
