JOB DESCRIPTION:
SECURITY OFFICER - UNARMED
As a Security Officer, you will work in various industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Residential, Religious Organizations, Construction, Government, and more.
We are looking to hire 2 qualified Unarmed Security officers for the following shifts, with various nights per week.
  • 8pm - 4am, weekdays
  • 8pm - 4 am, weekends
You must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to our clients.
  • Follow company post orders and site-specific post orders, as well emergency response post orders.
  • Respond to incidents.
  • Conduct Inside / Outside foot tours.
  • Write reports.
  • Keep up to date daily activity logs either written or typed.
  • Display excellent communication skills.
  • Lobby access control
  • Outside foot patrols
  • Work along side Armed security officers, law enforcement, and other agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed positions and at least 21 years of age for driving positions.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or prior security experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants must possess a valid security guard license.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants may be subject to a drug test depending on the client site and contract requirements.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws.
    • In New York state, a Valid, non-expired, New York state security guard license containing a verifiable UID is required prior to employment.
  • For Driving positions:
    • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only and will be subject to a motor vehicle report check with the state DMV.
